Circulating Registered Nurse – Full Time – Surgery Department


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals. The Circulating Nurse will assess the perioperative needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, neonatal and adolescent patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current PALS and ACLS certification


Registered Nurse - PRN - Inpatient(Nights)


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at Hospital. Supports the philosophy, objectives, goals and will ensure quality care to the individual patients recovering from surgery including but not limited to geriatric, adult pediatric, neonatal, and adolescent patients.

Scrub Tech - Full Time - Surgery


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at Hospital. The Scrub Tech is responsible for filling the surgical scrub role on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competencies in each surgical specialty.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School graduate or equivalent required. BLS Certification.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired


Scheduler - Full Time - Patient Access


JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates the scheduling of Imaging procedures following facility policy and procedures to meet the needs of the patient and physician. Perform responsibilities of pre-certifying and insurance verification for scheduled cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Two years clerical experience in medical facility or office preferred.
- Computer experience required with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication.


Materials Resource Coordinator - Full Time - Materials Department


JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist and perform specified Supply Chain duties in the absence/presence of the facility Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

-High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years’ experience in Central Supply required.

Charge Nurse - Full Time - Surgery Dept


JOB SUMMARY

The primary goal of the OR Charge Nurse is to ensure the prompt, safe and effective care of surgical patients. This position is integrally involved in ensuring the staff, patients, and equipment come together seamlessly to move patients through the surgical process in a safe and efficient manner. The Charge Nurse will also assist the manager as needed in maintaining standards of practice, communicating with medical and allied health staff and act as the schedule facilitator during manager’s absence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced Perioperative Nurse background with 5+ years in the OR clinical setting.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current PALS and ACLS certification.


Radiologic Technologist - Full Time - Imaging Department


JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for following established procedures and protocols. Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The scope of the position includes explaining procedure to the patients, accurately operating all imaging equipment, demonstrating clinical and age specific competencies in performing all diagnostic procedures and selecting accurate technical factors for optimal image quality. Technologist is responsible for practicing radiation safety in the operations of radiation-emitting equipment. Technologist demonstrates the ability to review images for interpretation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technologist must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). LA State license with MR/CT experience. Maintains BLS certification.
