Scrub Tech - Full Time - Surgery


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at Hospital. The Scrub Tech is responsible for filling the surgical scrub role on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competencies in each surgical specialty.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School graduate or equivalent required. BLS Certification.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired


Scheduler - Full Time - Patient Access


JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates the scheduling of Imaging procedures following facility policy and procedures to meet the needs of the patient and physician. Perform responsibilities of pre-certifying and insurance verification for scheduled cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Two years clerical experience in medical facility or office preferred.
- Computer experience required with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Patient Care Tech - PRN - Inpatient


JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist in patient care throughout the nursing areas, and is responsible for the safe transport of patients vial wheel chair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Current Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Registered Nurse - Full Time - Pre-Op


JOB SUMMARY

Ultrasound Tech - Full Time - Imaging Dept


JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects involved in Ultrasound department to include performing all routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Assists physicians in performing invasive Ultrasound procedures. Responsible for evaluating appropriate ultrasound technique and proper selection and utilization of ultrasound probes. Ensures comprehensive ultrasound imaging of the appropriate anatomical structures as per the physician’s order. Performs all ultrasound procedures under the indirect supervision of the Radiologist.



Position also includes maintaining competency in performing all routine diagnostic x-ray procedures and assisting in other areas of the department as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Technologist must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and ARDMS.
-La State License.
-Maintains BLS Certification.


Registered Nurse – Full Time – PACU


JOB SUMMARY

Health Information Management Director – HIM Department


JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for successful maintenance of patient medical records and organizational and administrative operations of the Medical Record/Health Information Management Department. Is responsible for ensuring medical record regulatory requirements are followed and serves as a resource for the facility in regards to medical record content. Responsible for ensuring the prompt completion, filing and retrieval of medical records.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from an accredited school.
- Computer experience required in windows, spreadsheet and word processing.
- Two or more years of previous hospital experience in health information management/medical record functions.
- Knowledge of DNV standards and state regulations for health information/medical record requirements.
- Ability to work with hospital management and physicians in an effort to ensure compliance to HIM policy and procedures.
- Two years management, supervisory and leadership experience.
