Circulating Registered Nurse – Full Time – Surgery Department


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals. The Circulating Nurse will assess the perioperative needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, neonatal and adolescent patients.

Registered Nurse - PRN - Inpatient(Nights)


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at Hospital. Supports the philosophy, objectives, goals and will ensure quality care to the individual patients recovering from surgery including but not limited to geriatric, adult pediatric, neonatal, and adolescent patients.

Scrub Tech - Full Time - Surgery


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at Hospital. The Scrub Tech is responsible for filling the surgical scrub role on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competencies in each surgical specialty.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School graduate or equivalent required. BLS Certification.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired


Registered Nurse - Full Time - Pre-Op


JOB SUMMARY

To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team at the Hospital. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Hospital. The Pre-op nurse will ensure quality care to the individual patients pre-operatively including, but not limited to geriatric, adult, pediatric and adolescent patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree from accredited nursing program.

Materials Resource Coordinator - Full Time - Materials Department


JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist and perform specified Supply Chain duties in the absence/presence of the facility Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

-High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years’ experience in Central Supply required.
-Experience with Healthcare Materials Management Information System required.

Radiology Technician - PRN - Imaging


JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for following established procedures and protocols. Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The scope of the position includes explaining procedure to the patients, accurately operating all imaging equipment, demonstrating clinical and age specific competencies in performing all diagnostic procedures and selecting accurate technical factors for optimal image quality. Technologist is responsible for practicing radiation safety in the operations of radiation-emitting equipment. Technologist demonstrates the ability to review images for interpretation.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Technologist must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic
- Technology (ARRT). LA State license. Maintains BLS certification.

Insurance Verification Clerk – Full Time – Business Office


JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates the registration and insurance verification of all patients scheduled at the Facility

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Two years experience in medical office preferred.
- Computer experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to speak effectively to internal and external customers required.


Sterile Processing Tech – Full Time – Surgery


JOB SUMMARY

The position is responsible for cleaning, packaging, sterilizing and stores the supplies, instruments and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles required
- Experience in central processing functions preferred
- Constant and frequent judgment and response required


Endoscopy Technician - Full Time - Surgery


JOB SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Perioperative Services, and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Endoscopy Technician is responsible for filling the surgical scrub role in the Endoscopy Suite. Assist physicians and nurses in various medical and technical procedures. These functions must be in compliance with the philosophy of the hospital, standards of practice and regulations of governing agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- BLS Certification.
- Previous Endoscopy Technician experience desired.
