Our family has used this center at least 5 or more times in the last 2 years. We were always very pleased and would us it again. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. The Center is always very clean and that makes a big difference to me.
Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital Donates Imaging Services
Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital in conjunction with the Radiologists of Central Louisiana Imaging announced they will donate their time and imaging services for CT scans, MRIs, and sonograms to uninsured working individuals at Community Healthworx Clinic in Alexandria, LA. Imaging services donated by the facility will be provided to Community Healthworx on a monthly basis.
“We are excited to be able to provide this much needed service to the community through this clinic,” said Louise Barker, CEO, Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital. “We believe this partnership will help promote timely services to the patients at the Community Healthworx Clinic.”
Community Healthworx, known as the working people’s free clinic, is Central Louisiana’s only free clinic. The privately funded organization serves up to 10 parishes across central Louisiana. Its services are funded through local foundations, private grants, and donations.
Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital is a joint venture partnership between area physicians and Nueterra Healthcare, a health care management company based in Leawood, Kansas. The 77,000-sq-ft facility offers 12 operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and 24 inpatient rooms. Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital performs procedures for ear, nose, and throat, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oral surgery, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry and urology.
