COVID-19: VISITOR RESTRICTIONS

Patients

Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital understands the importance of family and visitor presence to each of our patients. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have all experienced many changes that have been implemented to lessen the spread of this virus. One of these changes affects the number of patients/visitors we can allow in our waiting areas. Please see our visitor policy below. All patients AND visitors will enter the main entrance from 4:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and through the rear entrance of the inpatient unit after 6 P.M., Monday – Friday and on weekends until 9 P. M. No entrance after 6:00 p.m. or on weekends through the main entrance. Screening stations are located at each entrance.

All visitors will be required to wear their own mask for the duration of their visit. If one is needed, it will be provided at the screening stations. Also, all patients and visitors will be required to adhere to social distance guidelines and remain 6 feet apart in the waiting areas.

Limited visitation allows:

  • One dedicated responsible family member or visitor per inpatient.
  • One dedicated parent/caregiver for pediatric or mentally disabled patients who cannot be left alone.
  • One dedicated responsible caregiver/driver for outpatient surgery and/or testing.

Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital is following CDC-recommended and Louisiana Department of Health protocols.
